What kind of training do your teams do?

Elevate has year-round training opportunities for both baseball and fastpitch.

Fall training is included in the player fee and begins in September. Winter training is November through February, and then summer tournaments take the team all the way through July.

Our teams work with professional trainers from September through February, and then we continue to put instructors with teams all the way through spring and summer as much as we can.

Teams work through pitching, hitting, catching, defense, and mental skills sessions all year. All teams get out on fields to practice during the entire training period.

Elevate also encourages players to participate in other sports and play Little League if they want to. If you have any concerns about how your other seasons will fit into your Elevate experience, please reach out directly and we can talk through it.

What is the culture and mission of your teams?

Elevate Northwest exists to provide a positive and professional environment in which young athletes can better themselves in life and sport. We are founded on culture-first leadership, robust mentorship, and high-level skill development. At Elevate Northwest, we are proud champions of culture, sport, and community.

Who coaches your teams?

We have numerous high-level coaches in our program, all of whom are constantly being immersed in our culture and ongoing training. All team coaches at Elevate Northwest are required to participate in background checks, SafeSport training (bullying, abuse, harassment, player safety), coach training classes led by Ray Atkinson, mental skills classes, and much more.

Every team is engaged all year with more than just their team coaches as well. The winter training and ongoing instruction is designed and often carried out by true professionals in baseball instruction and high-level positive mentorship. Each team gets a complete winter of professional instruction.

When are tryouts?

View Tryouts

Do I need to attend more than one tryout?

Players should register for one tryout date. If coaches want to see the player again, they will ask the family to return for another tryout or another workout that may not be on the schedule.

What are your prices?

Our prices vary by age and range from $2,950-$5,500

We have payment plans which allow the fee to be paid over 10 months; we also have scholarships available for anybody in need of financial assistance. Each team also has opportunities to raise money through seasonal fundraisers, part of which can help with our scholarship fund and bringing down player fees.

What age is my child for next season?

Your player’s age level is determined by their age on May 1st for baseball and September 1st for fastpitch.

How is Elevate Unique?

Elevate Northwest is a nonprofit organization that is centered around providing life-affirming and virtue building lessons for youth and their families. Our primary focus is providing tangible benefit to our communities by enhancing the mental health of our youth, teaching them positive life skills, and collaborating with community groups for the greater good!

Our organization was formed under the principles of youth development and community building. Some of the examples of what we do are:

  • We have our own 50-page Elev8 Culture Code guidebook, which teaches our players 32 different lessons about the mental skills it takes to be great at life. Our lessons range from Gratitude to Service, and from Discipline to Love. What’s love got to do with a sports program? Absolutely everything! Watch this parent presentation with our founder and our life coach to hear more! Passcode: YJ!1r!gM
  • Everybody that’s part of Elevate is in a program that aims to build the esteem and develop the character of youth and their families. We donate thousands of dollars and just as many hours every year to charitable causes, and we provide over a hundred thousand dollars of scholarships to young people who cannot afford to participate in our programs. We have many of programs that don’t require tryouts or “selections”, and we would never turn anyone away for lack of finances.
  • We believe we’re just scratching the surface and look forward to helping build-up our amazing communities for a long time to come.

What is a typical schedule?

Players will have many opportunities throughout the fall and winter to train at our facilities. Many athletes will be training four or five days a week during this time of year.

Our teams then play in tournaments in March-July, and most of them will play 12-16 weekends.

Practice times and days vary based on age and time of year, but it’s typical for a team to have 2 team practices a week in addition to their other training.

Do your teams travel?

Most of our teams play local tournaments primarily, and most will travel (requiring planes/hotels) between 1 and 3 times per season as well. Travel is primarily a team by team decision after teams are formed in August. Our Elevate Academy Teams typically travel less than our teal teams.

What skill levels do you have teams for?

Elevate Northwest has many of the best teams in the state of Washington at several age levels. We also have teams at many other skill levels and take great pride in our focus on developing all athletes in our programs.

Could I bring my whole team into Elevate Northwest?

Elevate Northwest is the home of Elevate Baseball and Fastpitch, and we are partnered with other area clubs as well. We can add whole teams to our existing structures, or we can discuss bringing your whole brand underneath our umbrella!

If you’re looking for a premier home for your team, we would be happy to chat! Email  info@elevate-northwest.com and we can set up a meeting.

Can I get recruited by great colleges from Elevate Northwest?

Elevate Northwest has much of the best talent in Washington, and lots of great opportunities to showcase their talent. We have many players recruited by PAC 12 schools, we have several active college coaches on staff, and a player here will have every opportunity to get in front of any and every program they are interested in.

Our best teams play in front of dozens of college coaches every season, ranging from top division 1 teams to junior college. Our leadership is in constant communication with college coaches from around the country, as well as PBR, Baseball Northwest, PAC NW, and other recruiting services. There is no better place to be around great players and get connected to coaches at the next level.
