Elevate Development Academy (EDA), Youth Baseball Development Near Seattle

Professional Development. Flexible Commitment. The Elevate Standard.

By popular demand, the Elevate Development Academy (EDA) is back! Designed for families who want serious development without the full intensity, travel, or cost of traditional select baseball.

This program delivers to EDA players the same Elevate philosophy, coaching staff, and training environment of our premier teams through a streamlined, family-friendly experience that builds growth, confidence, and a lifelong love for the game.

What Is Elevate Development Academy?

Elevate Development Academy is a professional, development-focused training program built specifically for Northwest families seeking a high-quality baseball experience, simplified and more affordable. Athletes train in the same facilities, with the same instructors, and under the same long-term development plans used across Elevate Northwest.

EDA is built to be less intense, more flexible, and more accessible, while still holding athletes to a high standard.

Who EDA Is For

EDA is ideal for players who:

Want elite instruction without full select team pressure.

Are newer to competitive baseball.

Are multi-sport athletes balancing other commitments.

Thrive in structured development but prefer fewer weekly demands.

For the upcoming season, EDA is offered for 8–13U players, based on season age guidelines. If your player is older and interested, we encourage you to reach out. We actively track interest and form new groups as demand grows.

How the Program Works

EDA focuses on intentional development.

One structured training session per week.

Families choose their own tournaments during the summer.

Full inclusion in Elevate culture programming, including life classroom and character development sessions.

Significantly lower cost than full select teams.

As the season progresses, athletes who want more competition and commitment have a clear pathway to our select Teal and Tridents teams, without pressure or rush.

What Makes EDA Different?

Unlike most “academy” or “training-only” programs, EDA isn’t an afterthought. It’s built into the Elevate ecosystem.

  • Same facilities
  • Same professional coaching staff
  • Same long-term athlete development model
  • Same culture, values, and standards

EDA athletes aren’t treated like second-tier players. They’re developed with intention, supported with structure, and welcomed fully into the Elevate community.

When Does Training Begin?

Spring training begins in early March and continues through late spring. See our locations for current sites and schedules. This training period naturally leads into EDA team formation during early summer tryouts, setting athletes up for continued growth heading into the fall season.

Cost & Commitment

One of the most exciting aspects of EDA is accessibility. Families can experience the Elevate environment first, then decide what is right for their athlete.

Spring training sessions are free of charge, weekly beginning in March.

Team fees (for those who choose to continue) will be discussed at tryout periods.

No long-term commitment required to start.

Families can experience the Elevate environment first, then decide what’s right for them.

The Elevate Difference

Elevate Development Academy exists because development shouldn’t be all-or-nothing.

It should be:

EDA provides a clear, confident starting point, and a pathway forward, for players and families who want to grow the right way.

Please Plan on Attending Tryouts If You’re Interested in Joining an Academy Team for 2026-27.

While tryouts are not necessary to be placed into the Academy program, most families choose to attend baseball tryouts to see if a more advanced team might be a fit, or simply to receive more information and meet the coaches.

If you prefer not to attend a tryout with Elevate, please email info@elevate-northwest.com and we’ll be happy to chat with you about the program!
