Elevate Northwest is a culture-first organization, which means we aspire to make a great culture the foundation of everything we do.
If we are going to build great teams or great training programs, we need to first build groups of young people who are mentally strong and inspired.
They need to be resilient, they need to be confident, they need to trust themselves and their teammates. They need to love the sport, love the process, and love competing with their brothers and sisters. Elevate is a place where they are safe to experiment, safe to not know something, and safe to fail while they’re applying 100% of their effort.
It’s only in this environment that kids can truly develop to their maximum potential. It’s only in this environment that we can truly nurture fearless athletes.
These are young people who don’t feel like the love and respect of their coaches, parents, or peers is conditioned on results. Instead, they understand they are unconditionally loved and respected, without end, and their only responsibility is to give the best of themselves to each moment, as everyone around them does the same.
This mental training is the most important training they can get, to Elevate their identity above the little ups and downs of sports, and focus on a larger purpose and mission.
Fielding a ground ball is awesome, but no physical skill matters in the end if their mind isn’t strong enough to support their continuous process of development.
Our Elevate Culture Code lessons are the platform on which our teams can really learn sport and life, and they’re part of what makes Elevate a unique and meaningful place to train.
